But there was just one little problem…he said he was a vampire. Figures a man that hot would be batshit crazy. It didn't take me long to realize that Conner wasn't a nut job and that I was addicted to him. With every moment we spent together he drew me deeper into his world and the supernatural culture in which he lived. Now I had a choice: the vampire I craved or a normal life. Couldn't be easier, right?Ģ0 of 23 people found the following review helpful. This is another book where the female lead is just plain nasty to the H, under the guise of being "spunky", or "feisty", or "independent", or whatever. The h in this story yells, stomps, sticks her tongue out, huffs, sighs, throws things, shuts doors in people's faces, and generally acts like an annoying child throughout the entire story. I've given 2 stars for my review because the writing, taken as a whole, is not bad. There are worse books out there.ġ0 of 11 people found the following review helpful. I saw this book mentioned on goodreads and thought it sounded interesting. It was, the book is good and the author knows how to write but some details are left out. Important details ! I have all these questions in my head after finishing this book so I am not sure if I will continue on to book 2. The author writes this book from the heroine POV so we do not get insight from the hero POV. It would of been a better book if it was written by a third party POV.
